Ozigis Abdulhakeem built AFIsec out of frustration — the kind that comes from watching organisations drown in jargon when all they needed was someone to speak plainly about risk. After spending years working across consultancy, operations, and compliance leadership, he saw the same pattern repeating: SMEs being underserved by an industry built for enterprises.
His philosophy is straightforward. Security consulting should meet organisations where they are, not where a framework assumes they should be. That means understanding the real constraints — limited budgets, small teams, competing priorities — and designing security programmes that work within those realities rather than ignoring them. It means treating every engagement as a partnership, not a transaction.
What makes AFIsec's approach different is the commitment to practical outcomes. Ozigis measures success not by the volume of documentation produced, but by whether a client genuinely understands their security posture and can articulate their risks to stakeholders, insurers, and regulators.
